Step 1
Lay your carpet tiles in a pile allowing them time to flatten out if the edges were slightly rolled during transport. This will help ensure a seemless install.
|
Step 2
To help ensure the camouflage pattern repeats properly while installed, each tile has directional arrows on the bottom of the tile indicating which direction to position the tile when installing. Thus, it is important to point all the same tiles in the same direction during installation.

Step 3
First, lay a strip of double layered tape (provided free with your order) along the outer edge of your room. While not necessary, this is to help ensure your carpet tiles remain firmly in place after being installed. Then starting in a corner of the room begin lay down the first tile. |
Step 4
Continue to lay tiles in a row flush to the wall until you reach the end of the wall where a complete tile will no longer fit.

Step 5
Using a tape measure, measure the distance from the edge of the wall to the side of the carpet tile.
|
 |
 |
Step 6
Starting from the left side of the tile, measure and mark (cutting a small slit with a carpet knife) the distance you measured in step 5.
|
Step 7
Flip the tile over and using an L ruler to ensure its straight cut the tile along the marked slit. Once complete, this cut tile should exactly fit the gap between the installed carpet and the wall.
